"Hurry up! We don't have all day!" The larger figure barked. Horns protruding through the suits helmet nearly scraped the ceiling as his head jerked back and forth at the slightest noise.

"Right, right, as if your whining will get this lock open any sooner.."

A fist slammed into the wall beside the thiefs head, but they didn't flinch.

"Cut the smart-ass remarks and get it done!"

"I swear to all the God's I'm going to shoot the both of you."

No one spoke for several tense seconds as the thief continued their work. They were the wild card of the group after all- no name, armor that seemed to morph height and body at random in wisps of smoke. It was hard to tell where they began and ended sometimes, especially with the tail.

The larger figure fidgeted again, walking to the hallways intersection to check around the corner. Still nothing except the slain guards and few odd civilians that had the misfortune of being in their way.

"You don't get it Z'orn! Did you notice ANYTHING on our way in?! Anything out of the ordinary?!"

The scaled figure sighed from where they leaned against the wall, pulling a pack of the foul-smelling human contraband from their coat pocket.

"There was nothing out of place, Vysal. Same body count, civilians fell in the average metric. Here we are at the Vault door- the info was good."

"Right, and did your informant forget to include species averages? Hmmm? There were supposed to be 15 guards, and NONE of them were supposed to be human! TEN of them were, TEN!"

"Calm yourself. What's done is done. Besides, our work here is almost complete."
