God gives a strange-sounding war strategy to Joshua. Joshua obeys, gives the command to his troops, who also obey, and God hands the city of Jericho to them. But there's always that ONE PERSON, right? One who rebelled against God put the whole tribe into jeopardy, and got 36 soldiers killed. It didn't go well for him. After that mess was cleaned up, God gave a different strategy for the city of Ai, and they obeyed, and Ai was handed to Israel.
