Finding Rest, Redemption, and Reset - Rising as Spiritual Altars

Greetings, beloved. Today, I want to share with you a powerful word that’s been stirring deeply in my spirit—a message of rest, redemption, and the call to rise as spiritual altars in this season. We’re navigating an intense spiritual battlefield, but God is leading us into a season of rest and restoration. This is not idle rest; it’s a divine reboot to prepare us for the next great move. Let’s walk through this together.

Entering a Season of Rest in God’s Presence

We find our true rest not in the absence of activity but in the presence of God. As Shirley and others were praising and worshiping, declaring the goodness of the Lord, I was reminded of a dream I had about a car ascending seven levels—symbolizing ministry ascending to completion and rest, just as God rested on the seventh day.

God is saying to us, “I am the Lord of the Sabbath.” The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. We’ve been in a fierce spiritual war, and now it’s time for a season of rest and restoration. But this rest is not about inactivity or escapism. We’re studying, preparing new prayer strategies, and getting equipped. The key is that this rest is found in God’s presence, where perfect peace reigns—a peace that surpasses all understanding.

When we rest outside of God’s presence, our anxious minds take over, stubborn wills get involved, and emotions run wild. But in His presence, we are fortified. Strength, might, and emotional fortitude come from being grounded in Him. This is the foundation that allows us to pursue everything else with peace and stability.

Standing Firm Against Spiritual Warfare

There’s a storm brewing around us, no doubt. Witchcraft, occult practices, and dark powers are stirring to try to disrupt what God is doing. But I want to call out those who dabble in these dark arts—whether black magic or white magic. Come out now in the name of Jesus Christ. Your spells and incantations have no power here because the power of the living God dwells in this sanctuary and in this vessel.

I am not just a man of God; I am a man in God. And you can be too. The Holy Spirit confirms this truth, and I’ve had prophets confirm the presence of witchcraft stirring around. But it’s futile against the Holy Spirit’s power within us. Instead of fighting in darkness, I extend an invitation to turn to the living God and discover real power—the power that breaks chains and brings freedom.

The Invitation to Redemption and Salvation

If you’ve been bound by darkness, I invite you to call on the name of the Lord today. Declare:

"I, [insert your name], call on the name of the Lord. I believe Jesus is the Son of God. I believe He died and rose again for my salvation. I give my life to You, Jesus. Have Your way in me."

This is the pathway to true power and freedom. The Lord redeems us from all our enemies, from every chain and every bondage. Speak it out loud: “The Lord has redeemed me from all my enemies.” This declaration shatters the hold of darkness and invites God’s deliverance.

God’s Faithful Love Endures Forever

Psalm 107 reminds us to give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and enduring love. Many have wandered lost, hungry, thirsty, and nearly died, but the Lord has led us to safety and redemption. He breaks iron bars, shatters gates, and makes crooked paths straight. This is the testimony we carry—God’s faithfulness through every trial.

Even in seasons of distress, God rescues us. Maybe some of you are in such a season right now, but take heart: His deliverance is near. Though storms rage and we feel at our wits’ end, when we cry out, “Lord, help,” He saves us from distress and brings us into peace.

Personal Testimony of Redemption and Restoration

I want to share a personal story that illustrates God’s faithfulness. During the COVID season, I faced great loss, including financial devastation. I was betrayed in a business deal worth millions, left destitute and broken. I even struck myself in frustration until I blacked out. But in that darkest moment, the Spirit of God asked me, “Are you done?”

When I said yes, surrendering all my strength, God said, “Now I can use you.” That moment of surrender was not the end but the beginning of restoration and breakthrough. I share this to encourage you: when you come to the end of yourself, God’s power begins to work in you.

Walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit

We are not alone in this journey. God’s Spirit is in us, bringing life to every dead area. We are called to be prophets over our own destiny—what we speak over ourselves matters. Every word is a seed, and we are called to prophesy life, light, and destiny over our lives.

Let us pray for a guard over our lips and watch over our tongues, so the words we speak align with God’s purpose. Trust that you are not breaking down but breaking through. The breakthrough is not by might or power but by His Spirit.

Receiving the Mantle of Kingdom Leadership

God is calling each of us into a divine mantle of authority and responsibility—a spiritual legacy passed down through generations. Whether or not you feel like it, you are a leader in your sphere of influence. This mantle is a call to kingdom leadership roles, equipping you to minister with power and purpose.

Though you may feel pressed, perplexed, or persecuted, you are not destroyed. You are being prepared for your destiny. God is expediting your rising and calling you to step into the fullness of your God-ordained role.

The Call to Become Spiritual Altars

One of the most profound revelations I want to share is this: each of us is an altar. Not just a physical altar in a building, but a living altar—a portal, a gateway where heaven and earth meet. God created you as a vessel to carry His presence, to wield His authority, and to showcase His power in this world.

We’ve often misunderstood altars as places you rush to during altar calls, but the truth is, the altar is you. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, the gateway for God’s glory to flow into the earth. When we yield ourselves fully to God, He sends His fire through us to impact our families, communities, and nations.

Raising Prayer Altars in Our Communities

We are called to raise prayer altars—not just physically but spiritually—in our homes, workplaces, churches, and communities. These altars create openings in the spiritual realm, allowing God’s presence to flow and pushing back darkness, corruption, and sin.

This is not theory; it is a practical and powerful strategy. Prayer altars can change the spiritual atmosphere of cities and nations. We have seen this in places like Uganda, where prayer altars established years ago have led to a stable government, reduced corruption, and a godly influence over society.

Unity in Prayer and Spiritual Warfare

As individuals become altars, the unity formed creates a powerful network that punctures the covering of darkness over the land. The glory of God flows freely, touching every area of society. This is happening now over our nations, including Canada, America, and Mexico.

Even as we face political and social challenges, God is moving through His people who are faithful in intercession and obedience. We are the tip of the spear, the remnant moving ahead to break through spiritual barriers.

Standing Against the Spirit of Death and Despair

We live in troubling times. Governments are promoting dangerous agendas, such as medical assistance in dying for youth, which is a grave attack on hope and life. We must stand firmly in the authority God has given us and decree that this death agenda will not prevail.

We bind the spirit of death and declare life and abundance for our nations. The wicked will reap what they have sown. God’s justice is coming. We are called to pray and stand in faith to see His righteousness established.

Proclaiming Healing and Restoration

God promises healing—emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial. He is the Lord who heals, the balm in Gilead. We release the word of healing over ourselves and others today, declaring restoration in every area of life.

“Pray for healing and restoration,” the Lord says, “I will deliver you from your afflictions and heal all your wounds.” Your restoration is already unfolding. Your latter days will be greater than your former days, and God is giving double for every loss.

Walking Forward in Faith and Obedience

This season of rest is a divine reset. God is inspecting, refining, and preparing us for the next assignment. We walk forward in faith, asking daily, “Lord, what are we going to do today?” We partner with Him, yielding our strength, intellect, and emotions to His control.

We are not just worshipers but priests and kings, called to minister and intercede. As we walk in obedience, prayer increases, spiritual warfare intensifies, and the fire of God touches every sphere of life.

Conclusion: Embrace Your Identity as an Altar

Beloved, you are an altar—a living portal through which God’s fire and glory flow. Yield yourself fully to Him. Speak life over your destiny. Stand firm in the peace that surpasses all understanding. Believe in the restoration and breakthrough that God is bringing.

We are in a new era, a dawn of peace and prosperity. Let us rise as altars, united in prayer and purpose, pushing back darkness and advancing God’s kingdom on earth. This is our time. This is our calling. Let us walk in the fullness of God’s power and promises. Amen.
