Cold fronts bring rain, strong winds and possible snow

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of two cold fronts affecting parts of the Western Cape and beyond this week, bringing rain, strong winds and a drop in temperatures.

Flash floods caused by heavy rain on Tuesday morning, 20 May, left parts of Fish Hoek waterlogged as cold fronts moved across the region. City teams have been deployed to assess and manage the damage.
