There is a shift to the right in the world and in Europe, said re-elected Portuguese Congresswoman Mariana Mortágua, after the right-leaning party Chega equaled the Socialist Party at the legislative level.

However, that shift was not felt in Romania. On the contrary, votes for George Simion unexpectedly dropped. He had to be the candidate after the initial frontrunner was disqualified. In the end, he accepted his defeat, but not without controversy.

For example, the owner of Telegram announced that he was pressured by Macron not to highlight information about the patriotic alternative against globalism.

Meanwhile, we see Pedro Sánchez pleased with the developments in Romania, while Poland moves to a second round with a pro-European and a nationalist alternative.
