There’s something about small towns. We trust the quiet. We find comfort in the familiar. But when tragedy strikes the impact can be felt for generations.
Today, we travel back to the summer of 1968 in Charlestown, New Hampshire—a peaceful community nestled along the Connecticut River. It was a place where children walked to school bus stops without fear and neighbors left their doors unlocked. But on one June morning, a 15-year-old girl vanished on her way to school. Her murder would shake this small New England town to its core—and more than 50 years later, it remains unsolved.
