The Infiltration of the Spiritual Formation Movement – Gary Gilley

Spiritual Formation is relatively new terminology. Over the past 30 or so years, a growing movement has promoted “Spiritual Disciplines” or “Spiritual Formation,” which often includes Contemplative Prayer, the Enneagram, and other Eastern metaphysical practices. Bible colleges and seminaries may even offer degrees in “Spiritual Formation.” By 2020 Spiritual Formation were included in the accreditation standards of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS). But what spirit are they conforming their students to?
