British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomes European Union leaders including European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen to London for a summit on closer post-Brexit cooperation with Britain.
The European Union and Britain reached a tentative agreement on defense and security, fisheries and youth mobility ahead of the EU-UK summit, paving the way for British firms to participate in large EU defense contracts, EU officials said.
