Melchizedek Kings of Righteousness

One of the key concepts we teach is the understanding of Kings, Priests and Prophets. We take key concepts like this and connect it to another understanding of God’s Word. It might seem repetitive, or redundant, but it is vital for retention and renewing our mind. This develops a Biblical thought process.
A trained mathematician sees things mathematically, a scientist through science, a musician through music and a man or woman of God, through Scripture, having a Biblical world view. It is only through the Holy Spirit who is called the Spirit of Truth that we can totally understand the Word of God.
Isaiah prophesied that when the Kings, Priests and Prophets worked together, the anointing will break every yoke of bondage and a great revival would come. I believe when this happens, the Morning Star Authority will be released and Babylon will fall. This is the same anointing/authority that God released to deliver Moses/Israel from the Egyptians and Gideon/Israel from the Midianites (Isa 10:24-27).
We are God’s Kings, Priests and Prophets. We are learning how to bring down Babylon, taking dominion through servanthood leadership. We are adding another layer to this concept, connecting it to the order of Melchizedek.
Our Royal History and Lineage: Bloodlines
Enoch (6th generation from Adam) had Methuselah who had Lamech who had Noah. The prophecy said God will not flood the earth until the death of Methuselah (the oldest person in recorded history: 969). Methuselah and Noah (his grandson) evangelized for 120 years. Methuselah died in the year of the flood.
God floods the Earth. From Noah, his wife, his sons Shem, Ham and Japheth God creates 70 nations. Nimrod builds the Tower of Babel. God confused their languages causing them to separate and spread out.
Abram was born five generations after the Tower of Babel. His father’s name was Terah who was a general in Nimrods army. A prophecy was given at Abrams birth that he and his descendants would destroy Nimrod’s kingdom (Babylon). Nimrod ordered Terah to kill Abram because of the prophecy, but Terah took Abram, his grandson Lot, and Sarai to dwell in Haran. Then the Lord called to Abram to get out of the country, out of his father’s house and go to a land that God would show him. Lot went with Abram.
Abram and Lot both thrived. They had to split up. Lot went to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah.
King Chedorlaomer captured Lot and destroyed much of the surrounding area. Abram went with his 318 trained fighters to rescue Lot and retrieve his goods. He killed Chedorlaomer. On his way back Melchizedek King of Salem who was the priest of God Most High, brought out bread and wine to bless Abram.
Melchizedek means “King of Righteousness.” Hebrew word “melek” means “king.” Hebrew word “Zedek” means “righteous.” Melchizedek is a single person, but more so a priesthood. It is an order of priests. Like the title Caesar, Pope, President, or Judge. Melchizedek is a title for the Kings of Righteousness.
Gen 14:18-20 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; 20 And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand." And he gave him a tithe of all.
This tithe was given before the Nation Israel was created and before the Law (Ten Commandments) was given. The tithe was part of entering a covenant with God Most High. Theologians believe at this time Abram was stepping into the Melchizedekian Priesthood. The first Melchizedek Priest was Adam. Jesus is the tenth and final Melchizedek High Priest.
Melchizedek Priests had a three-fold anointing as King, Priest, and Prophet. This lineage was established before the Levitical Priesthood, before Israel was a nation. Right after Abram paid a tithe to Melchizedek, God made a covenant with him.
We tithe not out of law, but out of covenant, out of honor to Jesus Christ who is “a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek,” (Heb 7:17). Just like Abram tithed to the “Order of Melchizedek” and entered the order of Melchizedek priests, we tithe to Jesus Christ who is the “Forever Melchizedek High Priest.” Jesus gave us His bread and wine, His body and blood. We are in covenant with Christ and communion is a key sacrament of that covenant. Tithing and offering is a sacrament given through faith, grace, and love. It is given to honor our Lord. It is not done under law, for the Levitical priesthood is gone.
Gen 15:5-6 Then He brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." 6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. Then Abram had the vision of the smoking oven and torch passing between the heifer, goat, ram turtledove and pigeon that were cut in half.
Covenant; Strong’s #1242, diatheke (dee-ath-ay-kay): a will, testament, pact, contract, an agreed upon plan to which both parties subscribe. While the word may signify an agreement between two parties, with each accepting mutual obligations, most often it is a declaration of one person’s will. In the Bible, God initiated the whole action, set the conditions, and defined as a decree a declaration of purposes. God made covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses and Israel. Entering into a covenant takes a conscience decision from both parties.
Kings of Righteousness are Peace Makers and Warriors. Sometimes to have peace, you must go to war. Melchizedek is also called “King of Salem” meaning King of Peace.
Ps 110 The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." 2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 3 Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 The Lord has sworn And will not relent, "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek." 5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. 6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. 7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.
Hebrews has 6 chapters explaining Jesus as our High Priest; the first 3 are about the Melchizedekian Priesthood.
Heb 5:5-11 So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You, (Ps 2:7)” 6 As He also says in another place: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek"; …10 called by God as High Priest "according to the order of Melchizedek," 11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

Hebrews 7:1-9 is subtitled “The King of Righteousness” mentioning the word “tithe” 7 times.
Tithing cannot be done under law, because it would not be given in righteousness. For it to be done in Righteousness, it must be a personal decision by faith of the heart, given to honor our Lord Jesus Christ the High Priest of the order of Melchizedek. In the Old Testament, tithing was done under law through the Levitical priesthood. In the New Testament, the law changed into a covenant of love, forgiveness and grace followed by judgment and justice.

Heb 7:11-17 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. 13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest 16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. 17 For He testifies: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek."

When God put Jesus in the order of Melchizedek, He (God) did it with an oath. That shows the seriousness of how powerful this is. Heb 7:20-22 And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath 21 (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: "The Lord has sworn And will not relent, 'You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek'"), 22 by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.
