Chicken Adobo! Filipino Fusion Mix by Marge

My take on the traditional chicken adobo in a turbo broiler. Make sure to add at least 1/2 to 1 cup water or chicken broth. Add 1/2 chopped onion, 1-2 bay leaves, a capful of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of korean bbq sauce. Squeeze a tablespoon of ginger, add black pepper and 4-5 cloves of garlic or 1-2 tbsp ready minced garlic. I top my adobo with Bachan’s bbq sauce and granulated garlic powder. Then I cover and leave on medium heat for about 35-45 minutes, or until sauce is reduced and thickened. Serve with rice, vegetables or salad. Enjoy
