Episode 238: “Life is Good”

WE get to meet Carolee Hagstom on this episode. She shares her mission and the reach she has with her “Conversation with a Vet”. What an inspiration! Carolee is the mother of two Marine veterans, and has a lot of experience with that which comes from having served. There is as much tender to her as there is tough, and she has so much to share. Carolee runs a podcast that shares the stories of other veterans that will help, support and share caring for those who may have experienced similar situations. The piece that makes it come together is when she shares about how to be prepared to be a mom of these veterans when they come home and are dealing with the transition that is coming to be more and more of an issue.

Steven John Simon leads us off with LIFE IS GOOD!!! What a dude! It was okay - he was not homeless, just enjoying the warm weather and getting a tan. This is followed by Mikele Buck and his beautiful song about Irish Road and the terrors of facing that stretch of land on a regular basis. Lastly, we play a song by Jovon Newman called Certified.
