“This law lets people get away with murder” - James Roguski Explains How To Repeal The PREP Act

James Roguski is devoting his life to the repeal of the PREP Act. He says: “The PREP Act is so abundantly in violation of the Constitution and it so abundantly violates at least five of the rights that are guaranteed and protected by the first 10 amendments, the Bill of Rights, it should be struck down in its entirety.”

What is the PREP Act? Most Americans have no idea. And that ignorance turned out to be a matter of life and death during Covid-19. Why? Because the PREP Act is a license to harm and kill.

Does the PREP act have anything to do with traditional public health policy? According to Roguski, “what we're dealing with here is not health policy. We're not dealing with any openness to determine what is best for an individual person who's dealing with some kind of a health issue. We're dealing with a top-down, organized effort fueling the use of pharmaceuticals, drugs and devices and biologicals under the control of the Defense Department, the National Security Council, Homeland Security.”

The harmless sounding acronym PREP stands for ‘Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness’ Act. Sounds reassuring, but what does it actually mean?

The way the government gets the public ‘ready’ and ‘prepared’ for emergencies is by having the Secretary of HHS erect a shield of non-liability for so-called ‘covered persons’ by ‘declaring’ the PREP act for a certain chemical agent or virus. And the United States itself counts under law as a ‘covered person.’

Currently, the PREP act has been declared for the following:

Since 2008: Anthrax, Acute Radiation Syndrome, Botulinum Toxin, Pandemic Influenza, Smallpox and other orthopoxviruses, e.g. Monkeypox or Mpox
Since 2012: Ebola
Since 2016: Zika
Since 2017: Nerve agents and certain insecticides
Since February 2020: Covid-19 (until 2029)
Since November 2020: Marburg (until 2028)

Once the PREP is declared, the ‘covered persons’ are exempt from all liability when testing, producing, distributing, marketing and administering so-called ‘covered countermeasures.’

The PREP act, James explains, “wipes out all of the controls that people believe organizations or agencies like the FDA have to make sure that these products are safe and effective... If the HSS secretary says that these are the products to be used, they could be experimental, they could be emergency use, they could be whatever.”

How can this unconstitutional Act be repealed? Roguski says: “The job is very straightforward. If you believe that the PREP Act should be repealed, the path forward is to talk to your two senators and your one congressional representative and let them know that they are supposed to represent you and not the Pharmaceutical lobby… What we need to do is get better organized along the geographical boundaries of each person's congressional district.”

Roguski just launched the website RepealThePREPAct.com where anyone can sign a petition for the Repeal of the PREP Act: “There's a petition that I'm circulating… What the petition seeks to do is to identify allies. And so we've already got 1500 people and you know, just a short span of time. Obviously, we need millions of people to be aware of this.”
