Canadian PM Mark Carney attends Pope Leo XIV’s inaugural mass

Prime Minister Mark Carney led a Canadian delegation who attended the inaugural mass of Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican on Sunday.

Carney, a devout Catholic, is among a number of world leaders to briefly meet with the pontiff inside St. Peter’s Basilica after the mass.

It comes after the prime minister met with several world leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Saturday
