2025 Channel Introduction

Allow me to clarify what my channel is actually about. I discuss growing up in the UK in the 1980s, particularly with my Chinese Internet subscribers on two of the biggest social media platforms in China.

My Chinese followers are interested in my childhood, being a person raised in the Uk. So, while I understand that it will not be interesting to the great majority of people on the Western internet. I primarily publish my videos for the Chinese internet, and YouTube is simply a side project, but I still appreciate anybody who finds my videos interesting.

I relocated to Shanghai, China in 2015 and haven't looked back, except for recollections of my childhood during the golden age of the 80s &the silver age of the 90s.

I share my memories with my Chinese daughter & my Chinese students.
