The Wild oyster strain I foud in my recent foraging video colinized LC in ~4-5 days, on par with a commercial king blue oyster strain also seen in this video.

Here you can see me inoculating it onto Grain.

I use organic non-gmo rye grain. My LC is ~16% Rye-Water acquired during my Grain preparation. I use the hot soak method to hydrate my grain and instead of pouring out all the water, I save some and dilute it to make LC. I believe this to be a good example of reusing resources and reducing waste, as well as serving to prime my culture to feed on this particular nutrient source during the next stage in cultivation.

I also make some extra stock syringes to keep on hand for quick use and distribution. I labeled after the video was taken.

There are many ways to do this-- many different lids to use-- different recipes, etc. I am simply showing some of my work.

This video is for Educational purposes.
