St. John's Military Academy vs. St. Mary's Academy Crusaders (2003)

I had actually forgotten this was a rivalry game with a trophy that goes back and forth to the winner until I saw the final minutes of this footage.

This rivalry dates back to 1984 and as of 2003 was fairly balanced, with St. Mary's holding a 9-7 winning margin over the Muleskinners.

We had lost to St. John's the previous year due to the fact that our team was DECIMATED with injuries and players unable to participate. Off the top of my head I can think of 7-8 starters that were out (on an 8-man football team).

This year's victory was extra special and very personal.
