The Believer's Class | Day 2. Chinyere Isibor | May 18, 2025
At the moment of your new birth in Christ, you received two distinct expressions of power: inherent power (dunamis) and authority (exousia). This isn't theoretical—it's the same resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead now residing within you.

You were designed to walk in this power. The ability to work miracles, heal the sick, and cast out demons isn't reserved for a select few or for some future spiritual level—it's your inheritance right now. This power resides in you by virtue of Christ's nature within you.

Stop waiting for permission to operate in your authority. Many believers have transferred their faith from the name of Jesus to religious activities, spending hours in prayer for what could be accomplished through a simple command. The name of Jesus isn't merely a sound—it's an operation of power and authority. When you speak in His name, all of heaven backs your words.

Unbelief is hardness of heart. It blocks the flow of divine life and prevents you from maturing spiritually. Faith, on the other hand, activates the power within you. You can actually will yourself, by faith, to operate in spiritual dimensions rather than waiting for mystical experiences to overtake you.

Begin practicing your authority today. Command sickness to leave. Speak to situations that need changing. Your faith grows through demonstration, not intellectual understanding. Meditate on the name of Jesus, glorifying and exalting what His name can accomplish through you.

The world should recognize you by the signs following your life—your ability to manifest the nature and power of Christ. You're not meant to be ordinary. You're meant to be a witness—not just through words, but through demonstrating the life of God.

Remember: you don't need to acquire this power through extended prayer or fasting—though these disciplines strengthen what you already possess. The power is in you now. Believe it. Speak it. Act on it. This isn't about you—it's about manifesting the Christ within you to a world desperately needing to see His power in action.
