Logos Man-God

Of the Logos, there were several Logoi throughout in the Classical era. One of the Logos is one who has found 'divine reason.' The idea of being half-man and half-god means that one has a direct connection with the Divine, that the Divine speaks through them. Such super-humans were fathered by a god and born of a mortal woman, and the usually go through some sort of transformational experience, usually dying and being resurrected or restored to life by gods, as in the case of Asclepius.
