Building a Motorised Bike? - important mods for safety and reliability

Ive built many powered bikes. Petrol and Electric. This one was built by someone else. Its horrible, but it was cheap ($150) and it ran well so I bought it. six months later- I still ride it daily until my new bike build is complete. This will be the lightest and most powerful of my builds so far. 8 hp- 5Kw. in a 22 kg bike.
