A sailboat collided with the base of the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday evening, resulting in several injuries, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. when the Mexican navy’s ship Cuauhtémoc struck the bridge during a sailing maneuver as part of a training voyage, according to a social media post from the Mexican navy.
