Shining Force 2 playthrough part 15 (I HATE RNG)

Starting off the video with a mass promotion session for the rest of my level 40 unpromoted characters, after grinding for levels like CRAZY off camera a few days before I started recording this.

The battle with the Prism Flowers is THE reason why it drove me to promote my characters at level 40 the second time I played this game back in the day. Just like with the "chess battle", this is NOT a battle you want to enter unprepared.

The first time I played this, I had no idea that there was a village before I reach this battle for resupplying purposes. I only won after suffering heavy casualties the first time through, with my team was left with only 3 characters remaining at the time... with ZERO healing items.

This time, I OVERPREPARED for this battle.

The battle with the Red Baron is yet ANOTHER reason why I utterly despise the RNG. It's CHEAP insta-death attack is VERY ANNOYING to deal with.

Now my player character has that permanent 1 loss record "thanks" to that CHEAP attack.

Funny that when my team uses that insta-death spell, they NEVER WORK.

Did I mention that I HATE the RNG? Well,, I'm gonna say it again, this time, it is due to how ABSURD the chances of getting the weapons you want from that Blacksmith from all that Mithril you collected.

That Blacksmith is the sole reason why MANY players of this game had to press that reset button on the Sega Genesis console SO MANY TIMES.

I despise RNG, I'm gonna have to do this off camera after this.

I hate RNG.

Luckily, there's a mod of this game that I installed that rectifies this INSANE PROBLEM. Naturally, I'll play the game again using the mod on my own time.

I hate RNG.
