what was the reason God decided to allow Satan to test job in the Old Testament in the Bible now he went through a series of trials of losing his family members such as his son and daughters and livestock during the course of time in order for Saint to see that he was in fact, righteous and loyal to God

We see that the main reason that God allowed it was because he wanted to show that job was his best friend and that he would do what good friends do for each other, which is defend his honor and upon him to say that he is one of the greatest to God and it is an honor for God to say that since it is the ultimate and knows all things
