The Buzludzha Monument, built between 1974 and 1981 on Buzludzha Peak in Bulgaria, was constructed by the Bulgarian Communist Party using reinforced concrete and steel, with over 6,000 workers and volunteers contributing.

Its UFO-like dome structure houses a central ceremonial hall, originally lined with mosaics covering over 500 square meters, depicting Marxist-Leninist themes and Bulgarian socialist history.

The monument was used for party congresses, ideological education, and ceremonial events, symbolizing communist unity and power.

After the fall of communism in 1989, it was abandoned and fell into disrepair, though efforts to preserve it as a historical site are ongoing.
