Burn: New Beginnings (part 19)

*With Reign long gone, taken to wherever Traul has decided to spend eternity as they both serve the Old One, and with Gabriella already bitten and starting to change into one of the Devoted, Burn has no choice. He must head back towards the light on the horizon, towards where that strange brown haired man he so briefly had followed had already told him to go. To his shock, and after only a few hours of more travel, he finds a shiny city of crystal and gold before he enters it through a crystal gate that seems always open to allow all who seek to find it and all who find to either to stay or leave if they so choose. With Gabriellas eyes already beginning to change, yet her mind and soul somehow not yet gone to the vile evil of the Old Ones madness, Burn walks deeper and deeper into the shiny city until he sees the brown haired man again. Taking the sword of Dannawthen that he never lost, he puts that ebony blade to the throat of the brown haired man and tells him to fix Gabriella and fix her now. It is then that Burn learns the truth of where he is, and how that city will change him forever
