Mike Marrino from Olympus Arms shares an overview of the Olympus Arms RB 10 Vulcan rifle introduced for 2025!

Overview of the RB-10 Vulcan
The Olympus Arms RB-10 Vulcan is a unique rifle. It’s a Reciprocating Barrel Design which means that the barrel reciprocates the full length of the action into the receiver and it takes your recoil from a sharp spike to a very low gentle curve.

This is not your typical AR. This is not your modern sporting rifle, this is very advanced technology. It looks very sleek on the outside, but all the tech is on the inside. Every part of this rifle is made in Montana, USA. Mike Marrino and his team of engineers and machinists create it.

The RB 10 Vulcan comes apart very similar to your typical modern sporting rifle, but what’s unique to this rifle is that the upper comes apart in two halves. This gives you access to all of the internal components: the bolt carrier group, the upper receiver, and very importantly, the barrel.

This allows you to change the barrel out in this system in less than 60 seconds with no tools. This is important if you want to change from a rifle to a pistol or if you want to change the calibers.

You pull the spring depressor forward, the barrel tab comes out, and the barrel comes right out through the back end. Once you have the barrel out, you can change the caliber and the length, and you can reassemble it.

It has three different barrel springs. The white spring is the lightest and it gives you the lightest recoil. There is also a blue spring, and a red spring included in a kit. If you want faster action or to shoot higher power calibers, you can use heavier springs.

Olympus Arms RB 10 Vulcan is Fully Customizable
Everything about this rifle can be customized by the user, even our muzzle brake is a 7-position muzzle brake that you can tune to exactly where you want it to be. This means that you can ensure that the rifle is always going to cycle, but you have the least amount of felt recoil.

Recoil Operated Firearm
As you’ll notice in the video, there is no gas tube, this is not a gas impingement or a gas piston gun. It’s a recoil-operated firearm. This means that you won’t dump fouling into the bolt carrier area or the working parts when reassembling the barrel.

Components of the RB-10 Vulcan
One important part is the bolt carrier group. It is a straight-pull bolt system. This system uses the least energy to unlock and remove the round. This design is proprietary to Olympus Arms and is made from billet in Montana. When putting the upper together again, it snaps back and then you’re ready to go. Inside the lower receiver there is an ambidextrous bolt catch and release that allows you to operate the bolt catch with your firing hand. There is also a magazine well insert so you can convert to smaller calibers when needed. The folding stock on the RB-10 Vulcan is a Law Tactical folding stock, which allows the rifle to be used with the stock folded.

Olympus Arms is a veteran owned company. According to Mike, about 50% of their workforce have served or are currently serving in the military.
