THE SACRED PATH
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

It seems to me, the way we treat each other, one man’s life ain’t worth the same as another
There’s always a war, brother against brother
Where one child’s cry ain’t worth the same as another

Each soul’s light gotta fight to keep burnin’
In each bird’s flight there’s a lesson to be learnin’
To make your way each day against the wind
Until you feel that breeze blowin’ with you again

Who will you be when the time comes to pass?
All that you are or a delusion of the past?
To live on borrowed light behind some mask,
or become yourself along the sacred path

The sun shines down upon sea and lonely shipwreck
The Maker sheds light on each divine mess
Though some can see and some are blind
The Infinite will surely make a fool of all in kind

So what will you find in the silence, my friend?
Your truest self or just another loose end?
For every rough surface and every rough edge
There’s a diamond cut and a heart that’s bled

Who will you be when the time comes to pass?
All that you are or a delusion of the past?
To live on borrowed light behind some mask,
or become yourself along the sacred path

Who will you be when the time comes to pass?
All that you are or a delusion of the past?
To live on borrowed light behind some mask,
or become yourself along the sacred path
