Dave from Smith & Wesson gives an overview of the Smith & Wesson SPEC Series V M&P 9 METAL HD.

The fifth version of Smith and Wesson’s Spec Series family is a striker-fired pistol. It is chambered in 9mm and has a 23-round capacity. This pistol uses a new aluminum trigger for better and more accurate shooting.

Weighing 2.31 pounds (without the magazine), the M&P9 Metal HD has a steel frame. It features better texturing, a steel mag well, and a steel optics plate. These parts add weight and help reduce felt recoil. Its 4.8-inch threaded barrel, controls and mag well all display a sharp blue PVD finish. It is even equipped with a Strike Industries compensator to mitigate muzzle rise and improve control.
