UNCOMFORTABLE WITH GAY RESPONSE

Dear Pastor Bob: I have been working for myself as a handyman/general contractor for the last 5 years. I love to build things. I have a servants heart and genuinely care about people. However, once in a while, I get customers who are gay, who seem to take a liking towards me. That makes me a little uncomfortable because I feel like my servants heart can be taken the wrong way by some people. I do not know how to respond in a Christlike way when faced with apparent awkwardness. I'm not always sure if someone is just expressing thankfully and care in return, or if I am just homophonic. Thank you in advanced for addressing this on a podcast, as I am sure you have probably addressed similar things before.
