Mark Carney Announced His New Cabinet

Mark Carney’s first cabinet is here—28 ministers, 10 secretaries of state, and a $12M+ price tag. Some of the Liberals’ most polarizing anti-gun figures, like Rachel Bendayan and Nathalie Provost, are out. In comes Gary Anandasangaree as Public Safety Minister—less flashy, more law-and-order focused.

A quieter tone, but the agenda isn’t clear yet. Will Ruby Sahota, the new “Secretary of State for Combating Crime,” target criminals—or gun owners?

Early signs suggest change, but we’re watching closely.
