Use This Free Tool to Steal Your Competitor's Backlink Strategy

First, to find out your top competitors, Google your service and then open the top-ranking websites. Then, open a new tab and search for a free backlink checker. Scroll down and open Seoreviewtools.com.

Copy the URL of your competitor's website and paste it into the backlink checker. Then select the domain. It will show you a list of external backlinks and referring domains. You don't want every single backlink because one domain might have 10, 20, or 30 backlinks pointing to it.

Instead, focus on referring domains because they show you where the traffic is really coming from. You can download all of the referring domains into a CSV file, and this gives you a road map of sites that you can reach out to for your own backlink strategy.
