Friends, today I want to share something deep from my heart, something the Lord has been impressing on me lately—a message about faith, courage, and stepping out of the comfort zone into what I like to call the "miracle zone." This isn’t just a motivational pep talk; it’s a call to action, a declaration of destiny for each of us. So lean in, because what I’m about to say comes from the very core of my spirit, and I believe it will ignite a fire within you as it has in me.

Living in the Face of Challenge: Real Stories, Real Faith

Let me start by sharing a bit about what’s going on in my life right now. For those who don’t know, my wife has been through a string of miracles—strokes, cancer, paralysis—and about three and a half years ago, she actually dropped dead on the bathroom floor. Doctors showed us pictures of her brain with three-quarters missing, yet God gave her a new brain, a new life. She was paralyzed from the neck down but now walks with strength and speed that defy explanation. That’s not just a story; it's a testimony of resurrection power.

Now, the symptoms she faced back then have come back suddenly and without warning. Yet, despite the seriousness of this situation, we choose not to panic—we choose praise. Every morning when I come to share, I’m not putting on a front. This is real life, real faith. I refuse to agree with the enemy’s lies; instead, I agree with God’s promises. I’m standing in faith for another full-blown miracle, and I am confident God will move.

The Power of Belief: Nothing is Impossible If You Believe

There’s a phrase that keeps ringing in my spirit: “Nothing is impossible for you if you believe.” This is not just a feel-good statement; it’s a divine truth. I want you to hear it today and believe it with all your heart. The Holy Spirit is saying, “Listen.” Listen to this word, listen to the promise, and know that with God, your faith can move mountains.

Faith is not passive. It’s active. It requires movement, action, and courage. God says to us, “I will give you every place you set your feet.” That’s powerful! But if you’re not moving, if you’re stuck in the same place you were years ago, God has nothing new to give you. It’s time to step forward, to move your feet, to rise as a “high flyer” in the kingdom.

Emerging from Obscurity: Your Time to Shine

Maybe some of you feel like you’re operating in obscurity. I understand that feeling because I’ve been there myself. I’ve sometimes wondered why my circle has shrunk, why the impact I’m making seems small. But God reminded me—and I want to remind you—that you are emerging from obscurity. After a long season of training and equipping, many will see you and give thanks for your life. Your transformation will be evident, and people will recognize that you have been in the secret place with God.

Faith without works is dead. It’s not enough to sit and wait. You must move, act, and let your life be the sermon, not just the words you say. People don’t just want to hear about faith; they want to see it in action through your life.

The Comfort Zone vs. The Miracle Zone

Now, let’s talk about something that’s been a huge stumbling block for many of us: comfort and ease. Comfort can be deceiving. It feels safe, familiar, and easy to settle into. But comfort and ease can also kill destinies. They breed complacency, apathy, and stagnation. God is calling us out of that comfort zone and into the miracle zone.

The miracle zone is just a small step away—sometimes literally just six to eighteen inches beyond where you currently stand. That’s it. One small step into the unknown, the uncomfortable, the new reality where God’s promises start to manifest in your life.

How to Take That Step

Think about it like this: when you first get a fitness tracker or a cycling watch, it asks you to measure your step size so it can accurately track your distance. Your step size might be different from mine, but once it’s set, every step you take counts toward your progress. Similarly, God wants us to take steps of faith, no matter how small, because every step moves us closer to the miracle.

When you step out of your comfort zone:

The miracle zone becomes your new comfort zone.
You gain courage to take the next step.
You move from strength to strength, glory to glory, and miracle to miracle.

This is how growth happens. This is how we conquer new heights and dive into deeper depths. It’s not always easy, but it’s necessary.

Rejecting Complacency and Embracing Challenge

God is calling us to be kingdom motivated and sober-minded. That means no compromising, no complaining, no giving in to fear or doubt. It means:

Digging your heels in and standing firm.
Letting your yes be yes and your no be no.
Being determined and resolved in faith.

We are called to be attaches, emissaries, true representatives of the kingdom as we move around in our daily lives. Wherever your feet tread, God has given you authority and territory. But this requires action. It requires moving beyond the status quo, stepping into new challenges, and letting your light shine brightly.

Your life is the sermon. Let people see Jesus in you through your joy, your courage, your faith, and your resilience. Even when life is heavy and you’re carrying burdens, don’t let that weigh down your light. Shine through the darkness. Be the hope that others desperately need.

We all have something weighing on us. If you’re struggling, know this: you are not alone. We all have our battles, but we don’t have to wear them like a badge of sorrow. There is power in praise, strength in faith, and victory in persistence.
