At least coffee 62 or What time gave and took away
French EDF has thrown in the towel again pitchfork into the current government's efforts to achieve some dubious success. On Friday 2 May an appeal came before our court against the decision of the antitrust authority that the exclusion of the company from the competition to build Dukovany was correct. And immediately. a large number of experts said that the court could not change this and that it was an unnecessary gesture. I reacted to this by saying: let us wait until Monday. If the court does not issue an interim measure on Monday, nothing will happen. But I knew almost for sure, because in our courts one never knows that there will be an interim measure and that the contract will not be allowed to be signed. And the editors of CT09 in particular, together with the ministers, were chattering away to the effect that the court would surely decide quickly and correctly, and that we would demand compensation from the French side. We won't. The right to bring an action is absolutely universal. So, whatever the outcome of the court, and however long the proceedings take, there is no claim for damages. And if the current set-up does try to sue EDF, it would be bad for the State, which would have to pay compensation to the company for obstructing the legal transaction. So EDF is in no danger, but we will only suffer the loss of delaying the start of construction. Perhaps to the point that the Koreans will withdraw from the contract and the French will just pat it like Pat and Mat.
But here I would see the fault of Havlicek, who hesitated to call the tender until he was forced to pull out. a reliable contractor, Rosatom, because it's Russian. And by that time, it was already running the fake Vrbětice affair.
And propós, Vrbětice... Nowadays, there are doubts about any arms shipments without invoices or whatever. The point is that it is becoming clear that the Czech Brens
have been found in the hands of Syrian terrorists, excuse the current democratic rulers of Syria. And this again raises the suspicion that the explosion in Vrbětice was not Chuk and Gek, but that it was a mere camouflage to cover up the missing weapons. And because our secret service, the BIS, was too involved. or the Chucks led by General Koudelka, the possible threads could lead there too. A through Koudelka to Langley. That's where Koudelka went to learn how to work better for the CIA.
Well, teach.... Minister of Music. Bek is pushing a new education bill through the House. A lot of experts say that the bill is 90 percent good and necessary, but... There's a but, which is the transfer of non-teaching staff from the Ministry of Education to the of the founder of schools, i.e. the regions and municipalities. And nobody even knows where the principals are going to get the money. Well, Minister Bek doesn't have the money either, because he's already he hasn't counted on it. So far, the law has not been pushed through, but I'm afraid that on 28 May, at the the musicologist will win after all, the party's discipline is party discipline. So one stupid sticker can fuck up an otherwise very good law.
Yeah, the law and the fuckers is a common factor in the laws of Errorunia. It's about to start a bill to make it easier to move for sellers who offer people products containing so-called cartridges. This is software or parts of goods that cause the item to break just after the warranty period. Other practices to be banned include misleading consumers. The Czech Republic is required to do so by a European directive. But The House of Commons will probably not be able to discuss it before the elections. There may be some there is, but it may be more likely to be the inadvertent use of a cheaper part, here. but there's no way to plan for the lifetime, or a very dangerous bugger the users themselves. And then I know of one other possibility. It's some kind of improvement in the an otherwise good product, but it ruins the whole product and is irreparable. For example, such a trivial thing. The B&B straight saw has been changed from the original ...the way the saw blade is mounted has changed. The original tightening of the bolt directly onto the blade has been changed to a kind of pressure fixing from above. So you slide the blade between the two, say, jaws and they are tightened with screws. Well, because the leaf manufacturers don't look at hundredths of a millimetre, sometimes the leaf can't be tightened because it's just smaller. And the jaws just can't grip it properly. This really is the ultimate fucker. It made me buy another product from a different brand that sticks to the tried-and-true clamping method for now.
And so goes life. At least the coffee...
