INT. BRIEFING ROOM – DAY

JOE JUKIC, aka SOLID SNAKE, in his stealth gear, leans against a console. Across from him stands TOM CRUISE, in full Ethan Hunt mode. A hologram of Earth hovers between them, red dots flashing over dozens of eutrophic lakes.

SNAKE
You ever heard of Mission Possible, Cruise?

TOM CRUISE
(chuckling)
That’s not how the tagline goes.

SNAKE
It is now. Because saving the planet’s lakes? It’s not impossible. Just forgotten.

TOM CRUISE
Eutrophication. Runoff. Algal blooms. Oxygen crashes. Fish die-offs.
(breathes in)
I’ve read the reports. But it’s happening faster than we thought. Even Lake Erie’s choking again.

SNAKE
Exactly. And this time, it’s not rogue agents or nukes—it’s phosphate fertilizers, untreated sewage, and greed. That’s the enemy.

TOM CRUISE
So what's the op?

SNAKE
Mission Possible. We're talking massive-scale lake restoration. Rewilding wetlands. Deploying floating biofilters. Dredging toxic sludge. And cutting the flow of nitrates and lies from upstream.

TOM CRUISE
Sounds like a job for scientists, not spies.

SNAKE
Wrong. It's a job for everyone. But we need faces. Voices. Action. You run up buildings—I need you to help us run up awareness.

TOM CRUISE
You want me to do stunts... for the lakes?

SNAKE
Damn right. I want you hanging from a helicopter with a phytoremediation unit in your hands. I want viral. I want viral in a good way.

TOM CRUISE
(grinning)
That’s insane. I’m in.

SNAKE
Good. Because we start with Lake Victoria. You’re flying the drone. I’m diving in. We’ll plant the first bioremediation rig at sunrise.

TOM CRUISE
No masks this time?

SNAKE
Just one.
(pulls on gas mask)
Algae blooms don’t negotiate.

TOM CRUISE
Mission Possible... Let’s clean house.

They fist bump. The hologram zooms in on the shimmering, sickly green of a dying lake. The war has changed—but the heroes haven’t.

FADE OUT.
