My Freedom Farm Range Flooded!! See What Happened!

Well, I caught a flood a little early this year. We had several days of heavy rain and it backed the river and creeks up enough to flood my range!!
This one was not too bad, the water was moving slowly. The flash floods are what will destroy a lot of my stuff. This was much slower moving so things just got jostled around. I lost one tree trunk I was using for practice, but that is easily replaceable. I thought I lost one of my targets, but I found it about 60 yards away from where it was supposed to be, lol. Took itself a float on a pallet!! Crazy stuff when water starts moving!
I will still have a good bit of work to do the next several weekends to put things back where they belong and clean up properly, but as it is, I can make use of things if I need to practice something quickly.
Downside of owning a private range, all the work to fix things like this falls on me. But, the privacy is a worthy tradeoff!!

I also wanted to check my rifle and ammo before my next match this upcoming Sunday the 18th of May. I've not gotten down here and actually taken a shot since the last match!! Ran a few pulls with a bore snake through the barrel just to clean out the big gunk, and then fired a few from 500 yards. Got some good hits and checked my match ammo.
Seems like it still works, lol!!
I should be good to go this Sunday.

Thanks for watching this one this week.
I hope you have a great rest of your day and an awesome weekend!!

This is a private range. All shooting is done in a safe, controlled environment with no people or dwellings within miles to be at risk.
