How does it feel to live through a hyperinflation? Although dozens of cases have been documented throughout history, for the average person it is still very difficult to imagine. Due to the collapse of the currency, prices of everyday goods are rising relentlessly. Workers spend their salaries as quickly as possible. If you wish to understand what it feels like, there is one chart that illustrates it perfectly. It describes the price of gold, during the hyperinflation in Weimar Germany. As you will see, there are many similarities between the situation back then, and what we’re seeing today.

This is an excerpt from an interview with ‪Mountain Bullion‬ and ‪GGbullion‬.
