AN ARROW, A TENTPEG, and A ROPE

Psalms 127:4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Who is that mighty warrior? That would be you!! This is God’s perspective of you in the spiritual world. Others probably don’t see the threat you really are for the Kingdom of God, but the enemy certainly does. In the spiritual realm you are a force to be reckoned with. Mothers, YOU are the one who stands between the darkness and light with an arsenal ( the WORD ) at your fingertips! Don’t ever underestimate the power within you, woman of God! When God made the first mom, Eve, He called her a helpmate (Gen 2:18). The word used for Eve, helpmeet, in the Hebrew text is ezer. It is not meant to be interpreted as helper that just cooks and cleans. This is a warrior-like term for someone who aids in battle .Ezer is used twenty-one times in the Old Testament, two times referring to wives and fourteen times referring to God Himself and His nature in battle. Ps. 121:1 “I lift my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth. That word help is the same word God called woman, ezer. Sin distorted the original role of woman and mother. Saten would fear the fruit of the womb of woman. The enmity was not between Adam and Saten, but Eve and Satan. The enemy still fears the godly seed of the godly woman! He will try to oppress, confuse and distort your self-perception. He knows you have been given the power to tear down your house for him or build it up for the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is calling for an awakening in mothers of this generation. We can no longer let the enemy seal our children! Don’t miss the mark! Awaken to the assignment, and shake the kingdom of darkness with the arrows you have been given!

The story of Debra Judges 4
We more mature women are supposed to be the Debra’s of our day. We are called to be full of Grace and wisdom. We are also called to be Jael and drive a tent peg though those things that keep us from our Kingdom purpose!
In Mathew 21:2 we see Jesus give instructions to His disciples to get the choice vessel He would ride upon. He said, “Go over into the village opposite you, and immediately you find a donkey tied and her colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.” Jesus didn’t just ride in on a donkey: He rode in on a donkey and a colt. In this we can see a joint calling and a joint destiny. It was a mother donkey that Jesus sent for,and her little colt was with her. This mother donkey was likely owned by someone for work or travel purposes and tied up daily. The colt was born into the bondage of the mother. The rope was the only reality he knew. Our children will follow us wherever we lead them, whether it is into the freedom of Christ or the bondage of the enemy. What’s the rope keeping you in bondage?
