S03E17 New deck beam and faring and sanding

Hi there guys.

Welcome back.
This week i attempted to get the deck beam fully in place and glued up to make sure that i can start on the chain plate install. The new deck beam needed a longer scarf so that was done on both the mating ends and then glued in place with thickened epoxy.

Also on the list of to do's was more fairing , but this time on the aft section of the coach roof under the mizzen mast. this was glassed up in last weeks episode and we are now working on getting it ready for primer.

As for primer the 1st full proper coat of that was applied to the front section of the coach roof forward of the mizzen but aft of the doghouse. There looks to be a few small sections that still need a little bit of fairing here and there but its easily sorted.
