The T4Cast Episode 75: An Overview of Plastic Compression Molding

Usually, my T4Casts are just me shooting the breeze with myself. As such, I talk about RANDOM stuff - usually topics that just happen to be on my mind that day. When I talk about the stuff, it helps get it off my mind, so I can move on to think about other things.

In this episode, I talk a little more seriously. As Chief Engineer at a Plastics Manufacturing company, not only do I deal with various plastics on the daily, but I also deal with molding. The main three are compression, injection and blow.

In this cast, I talk about compression molding, which is kind of a dying industry. Additionally, it is a vastly different technology than injection molding, which is the go thought when people hear or think about plastic molding.
