A World War II plane is discovered off the Cape York Peninsula, and is initially believed to be a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber. As they explore the wreckage site, more information becomes apparent as they discover various artefacts including machine guns and ammunition. But will they be able to discover the true identity of this missing plane?
