Text: Luke 13-30

objective: Remember the Lord Jesus sacrificed His Life for us and not forget.

intro:
define Remembrance

a retained mental impression; memory.
the state of bearing in mind

Why did the Lord wants us to Remember always.
1. Because it has positive effects - stir us in the right direction
2. Because the Lord commanded it - v. 19 - 'this do in remembrance of me'
3. Because it is the continuation of a Great Ordinance - Exo. 12:14
4. Because it is a foreshadowing of His Anticipated Reign - vv.16,18
5. Because there will always be betrayal and we should avoid it. - vv. 21-23

Message/conclusion:
There are good and bad things to remember.
Focus on the Lord Himself, and those that are before us.
