This is today’s Back in the Day 6 from the Remnant Church of Victor. Today we are looking at the ministry of Phil Keaggy. Phil Keaggy has always been one of those artists that I have always admired. I remember seeing him during a concert with Petra, and Sheila Walsh. It wasn’t the best planning in my opinion because most of the audience was burned out by the time he took the stage. But when he did, wow. He tore up the guitar, using multiple pedals and incredible speed. His voice had that soft rock style but he could still rip up the guitar. Philip Tyler Keaggy (born March 23, 1951) is an American acoustic and electric guitarist and vocalist who has released more than 55 albums and contributed to many more recordings in both the contemporary Christian music and mainstream markets. He is a seven-time recipient of the GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and was twice nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album. R
