Today we have armies of modern day Pharisees in the church… legalistic denominations and people who call themselves Christians who have turned Christianity into a lifeless system of rules. They reject the grace, mercy and forgiveness given to us freely by Jesus and replace it with a soul-crushing impossible religion of merit and works… this is LEGALISM. This is the exact same mistake the Pharisees made in Jesus’ day. And modern day Pharisees continue their work of murdering Jesus by assaulting the body of Christ with their philosophy of death.

Legalism, religious spirits, the dogma of modern day Pharisees, is the greatest, most perilous infiltration of the devil within the church. Today legalism continues satan’s plan to destroy Jesus Christ. It is very serious. And so it is important for us to examine our own hearts and minds and weed out these legalistic beliefs.
