Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- is the sixth main installment in the Guilty Gear series and the overall twenty-third entry. It is a direct sequel to Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-, and together they form the third chapter in the main storyline.
The game introduces two additional playable characters, Baiken and Answer, and was released in March 2017 for arcade and consoles, and in June 2017 for Steam.

Guilty Gear Xrd -Revelator- is a fighting game where players engage in one-on-one battles using human characters and biological weapons called GEARs. Players can punch, kick, and use various weapons such as swords, chain scythes, and giant scalpels to drain opponents' life meters. Characters can perform super attacks that involve fiery blasts, being shot out of cannons, and electrocution by lightning.

The game is known for its complex mechanics and high skill ceiling, making it more challenging for new players compared to Guilty Gear Strive.

However, it offers a more rewarding experience for those willing to put in the time to learn and master its intricacies.

The community for Xrd -Revelator- is smaller than that of Strive, so it might be harder to find casual or ranked games online.
