Let It Be Light V2

Let It Be Light

I’ve carried stones that weren’t mine
Wore heavy thoughts like fragile lines
But in the hush of morning air
I found a weight I didn’t care

So I set it down, soft as rain
Not all pain needs to explain

Let it be light, let it be slow
Not every story needs to show
I’m learning now to just exist
Not every ache deserves a fix
Let it be light, let it be mine
The quiet kind of peace I find

I used to rush through every fall
Afraid to feel, afraid to stall
But now I sit with what I keep
Even if it makes me weep

Not every crack needs to be sealed
Some broken parts are how I heal

Let it be light, let it be slow
Not every story needs to show
I’m learning now to just exist
Not every ache deserves a fix
Let it be light, let it be mine
The quiet kind of peace I find

No fireworks, no thunder cry
Just a soft truth passing by
And that’s enough, it always was
To feel, to breathe, just because

Let it be light, let it be slow
Like a shadow in the snow
I don’t need to shine or strive
To call this moment being alive
Let it be light, let it be free
And that’s enough for me
