I’ve been running from the past
Chasing shadows that don’t last
But in this breath, I’m letting go
Of the things I couldn’t know

And for once, I feel the light

In this moment, I am here
Not broken, just unclear

In the quiet, without a sound

I’ll just be — and let it all be still

But here, I stand with open eyes
Letting go of all the lies

Just to be where I can stay
