It started creating during COVID, at a time when the world felt isolated and unpredictable. I was home taking care of my wife, who has POTS syndrome, while raising our two kids. Life slowed down in ways I didn’t expect, and I started drawing to stay grounded—and to create something hopeful for others stuck in the same uncertainty.

At the same time, I’m blind in one eye from a car accident years ago. So when I create Bolt Voltage, a character navigating a broken world and learning to feel again, I’m really drawing from my own life. Learning to move forward through unpredictability, and finding connection even when things are out of sync.
