Edan Alexander, the last living American held captive in Gaza, was handed over to the Red Cross on Monday afternoon. His release is the fist since the ceasefire ended last March.

Will this open the way to freeing the remaining 59 hostages held in the Gaza Strip, after Hamas said freeing him was a “good will” gesture.
