Info from Licensor: "This is a wild mob (that’s the correct term for a group) of banded mongooses at a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia. They are free to roam wherever they please, but often come by for snacks and to dig for food. The warthog’s name is Ham — she was rescued and now lives happily with the mongooses in a beautiful symbiotic relationship. The mongooses help clean parasites off Ham, and in return, they enjoy the safety of her company. I, Julia Hellweg, filmed this video in 2021. Mongooses are incredibly beneficial, as they keep snakes away, being immune to snake venom and natural snake hunters. While they’re fascinating to watch, they’re not cuddly and don’t like being petted — they will bite. Ham, however, loves a good scratch!"
