You're A Divine Masterpiece; Walking in God’s Power
Good morning, friends! Today, I want to share with you a message that has been stirring deeply within me—a message about who you truly are in God’s eyes, the power that resides within you, and the altar of your life that invites God’s presence to transform everything around you. This is not just a motivational talk; it’s a call to rise up and embrace the fullness of your identity as God’s masterpiece, empowered to do the good works He has planned for you long ago.
You Are God’s Masterpiece: Created and Recreated
Let that sink in: you are God’s masterpiece. Not just a beat-up, misfit soul, but a masterpiece crafted by the Creator of the universe. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Think about the great artists—Michelangelo, Monet, Van Gogh. They made a few masterpieces, but who made them? God did. And He made you!
But it doesn’t stop there. Not only did God create you, He made you anew in Christ Jesus. That means the old has passed away, and you have been given a fresh start, equipped to fulfill the good works planned for you long ago—not someday, but right now. It’s a powerful truth: the same creative power that formed the stars and the earth is alive inside of you. You carry God’s DNA, His personality, and His authority.
The Power Inside You
To him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works within us—this is the promise that empowers us. That power is the Holy Spirit residing in you, the very presence of God that enables you to overcome, to stand firm, and to walk in victory.
Sometimes, we feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or distracted by the chaos around us. But remember, these distractions are tactics to steal your focus and power. The enemy wants you to be consumed with offense, petty quarrels, or sin so that you cannot operate in your God-given authority. But you are called to rise above that. You are called to stand firm, to put on the full armor of God, and to wield the power He has given you.
Standing Firm Against Distraction and Sin
We live in an upside-down kingdom. The kingdoms of this world will never satisfy or fulfill you. You were made for God’s kingdom. And if you want to walk in the fullness of power, you must quit flirting with sin and distractions that rob you of that power.
Sin is not a relative term—it’s black and white. You are either walking in it or not. God’s grace is not a license to continue in sin; it is the power to walk away from it. If you find yourself not fully walking in power, ask yourself: what compromises or distractions are holding me back? Are you still entertaining things like occult practices, horoscopes, tarot cards, or other spiritual distractions? These things open doors to darkness and steal your authority.
It’s time to repent, turn away, and consecrate yourself fully to God. When you do, you will find the power to overcome and the presence of God to fill your life.
Examples of Power in the Bible
Look at Samson, David, and Daniel—men who faced lions and armies but were empowered by God’s Spirit. Samson killed a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey, not by his own strength, but by the Spirit of the Lord coming upon him. David faced lions and giants with faith. Daniel lived peacefully among lions because of God’s protection.
Each of these men had a unique anointing and power given by God to face their challenges. And guess what? You have that same Spirit. You have a unique power inside you to overcome whatever lion or giant is facing you today. You don’t need anyone else’s tools; God has equipped you with exactly what you need.
Building Your Altar: Drawing God’s Presence Into Your Home and Life
Now, let’s talk about something very practical and transformational—the altar. Many think of an altar as a physical place, a pulpit, or a podium. But God is calling us to be living altars—places where heaven and earth meet.
Imagine your home as an altar, a sacred place where God’s presence dwells and flows freely. When you consecrate your life and your home to God, you create an atmosphere that draws His presence. This atmosphere softens hearts, breaks down walls of rejection and bitterness, and brings healing and restoration.
Even if you are the only believer in your household, don’t be discouraged. God says, “Start with me.” Your faithfulness in drawing His presence will begin to soften others’ hearts. This is a process. It takes time, persistence, and dedication. But God’s presence is powerful—it will do the heavy lifting.
Overcoming Spiritual Compromise in Your Home
One major obstacle to drawing God’s presence is spiritual compromise. This happens when there are altars of darkness or occult practices present in your home—crystals next to Bibles, burning sage or incense as if it were a sacrifice, or any form of spiritual confusion. These things create conflict, a “war of altars,” and repel the very presence you seek.
If you want God’s presence to saturate your home, you must remove these compromises. It’s not about judgment but about creating space for God’s Holy Spirit to move freely. When you commit to this, God promises to fill your home with His glory, and the atmosphere will shift dramatically.
The Power of a Network of Altars: Impacting Your Nation
This is not just about individual homes. When families across a nation build altars of prayer and consecration, a powerful spiritual network forms. God’s presence begins to saturate cities, communities, and entire nations. It pushes out darkness, brings revival, and restores broken systems.
Imagine a country ravaged by war, violence, and broken families. When the church rises up in unity, building altars of prayer in homes and workplaces, God’s power intervenes. Dictators fall, diseases decline, and a spirit of revival sweeps through the land.
This is the strategy God is giving us now—to build a network of altars from coast to coast, north to south, east to west. Every altar established and attended to invites God’s presence, and together they form a spiritual fortress that cannot be overcome.
Personal Testimony and Call to Action
I know this because I have seen it in my own life and in the lives of many others. We don’t need gimmicks or magic; we need faith, obedience, and a heart fully yielded to God. When you consecrate yourself daily, when you seek God’s presence with all your heart, when you remove compromise and distractions, you become a powerful altar, a gateway for God’s kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
So I challenge you today: Are you ready to stop compromising? Are you ready to walk in the fullness of your identity as God’s masterpiece? Are you ready to build your altar, draw God’s presence, and see your family, your community, and your nation transformed?
Walking in the Fullness of Power: No Compromise, All In
God is shaking the earth right now. The old is passing away, and the unshakable kingdom of God is rising. This is a season of zero compromise. You are in the world but not of it. You must put on the full armor of God—belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit, and shoes of peace—and stand firm.
Do not be distracted by offense, sin, or spiritual confusion. God’s grace is sufficient to empower you to walk away from anything that robs you of His power. The hour of grace is here, but we must respond with obedience and faith.
Living as a Consecrated Altar
Every morning, I consecrate myself to God. I say, “Lord, take me, use me as a vessel. I yield myself wholly to you.” This is not a one-time event but a daily surrender, a dying to self so that God’s Spirit can have full dominion in my life. He is a gentleman and will not force His way in, but He waits for our permission.
When you live this way, you become a living altar—a place where heaven touches earth. And through you, God’s power flows freely to accomplish His purposes on this earth.
Conclusion: Embrace Your Identity, Walk in Power, Build Your Altar
Friends, the time is now. You are God’s masterpiece, created and recreated to do the good works He planned for you. The power of the Holy Spirit is alive inside you, ready to overcome every lion, every giant, every obstacle.
Stop compromising. Remove distractions. Consecrate yourself daily. Build your altar of prayer and worship, your home as a sanctuary of God’s presence. Trust that as you do, God will draw others to Himself, heal broken relationships, and bring revival to your community and beyond.
Remember, nothing is impossible for those who believe. The war has been won. You are equipped to reign and rule with Christ. Let’s walk this journey together, standing firm, shining brightly, and living as the altars God created us to be.
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10
Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Him, keep the main thing the main thing, and watch God do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think. Amen.
