Hi, I'm Malisa! I host a podcast called Emotionally Unavailable, am an author and public speaker. I am also a therapist in Oklahoma.

I survived an extensive history of childhood and subsequently, lost my dad at 15 to an overdose and my mom at 22 (when pregnant with my first child) to complications related to hep c and chirrosis. If you are familiar with the ACE questionnaire (Adverse Childhood Experiences) I have the highest score possible. I did my best to manage cptsd for 44 years and then hit a brick wall full of burnout that led to me making a plan to end my life. I decided to give it one more go and here's what I did:

1)Started my podcast
2) Started healing
3)Quit my job to pursue full time entrepreneurship
4)Learned that all that noise in my head wasn't me; it was the voice of my narcissist grandma who raised me and all the other people who placed expectations on my shoulders and molded me into the people pleaser that I was shedding.

I'm on a mission for global impact; to show others how to quiet the noise, connect to self and embody the light.
